Grand View Ministries exists to glorify God by serving local churches through providing a unique Christian camping experience that displays the good news of Jesus Christ.
Core Values – What guides us in accomplishing our mission
Every aspect of what we do must fit under one of these core values
1. We will display Jesus Christ by presenting the Word of God.
Jesus Christ is revealed primarily through the Word of God. This is why the preaching of the Word must remain the central focus of each day. This is why our staff must be thoroughly trained in The Word of God. This is why a personal daily devotion time will be part of every camp program.
2. We will display Jesus Christ by presenting Christlike character in our staff.
Jesus Christ is revealed through His people. This is why we must have full-time staff that are committed to displaying Christlikeness. This is why we must have a summer staff that is displaying Christlikeness. This is why discipleship of our summer staff must be a priority.
3. We will display Jesus Christ by presenting His creation.
Jesus Christ is revealed through His Creation. This is why we must provide opportunities for campers to see His creation through interaction with nature. Not only do we display Christ’s character through nature but also through our facilities. Christ’s creation displays beauty and order and so our property and facilities must display beauty and order. We will strive to display the character of Christ in His creation through maintaining our facilities, placing a high importance on cleanliness, and ensuring our facilities do not distract from the presentation of Jesus Christ.
